Biotec 8 Phase 2

Biotech 8 Expansion is a 112,000 square foot, six-story, structural concrete-frame building that serves as a wet/dry laboratory and office building. The building is located in the biotechnology park in downtown Richmond. During the construction of the facility, Century worked with the General Contractor and Owner to accelerate the schedule by one month. The project required remarkable flatness and levelness numbers for the cast-in-place slabs, and Century collaborated with a consultant for the American Concrete Institute to achieve a finished product with exceptional quality.
