Field Engineer Intern (2 Locations)
Virginia Beach, VAField Engineer Interns provide site engineering support for projects, while building a strong foundation for individual career growth. This position operates surveying equipment and software in support of the construction of buildings and infrastructure, interprets blueprints and performs construction layout. The Field Engineer Intern is immersed in the jobsite construction environment. This function requires operation of various engineering equipment with some manual labor components, team collaboration under the direction of a Lead Field Engineer and offers excellent opportunities to learn the business of onsite construction.
Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, possess self-confidence, demonstrate strong analytical skills, work well with people and thrive in a challenging environment. Individuals in the fields of Building Construction, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology or related fields are strong candidates for this position.
Internships are offered in the Virginia Beach region from May - August. Successful internships can lead to full time career opportunities.
