Project Assistant (2 Locations)

Virginia Beach, VA

The Project Assistant performs various administrative tasks related to the daily operation of the construction site in support of Project Engineers, Project Managers and Project Superintendents.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages project document control
  • Collects, logs and forwards material delivery tickets
    • Reviews, updates, distributes and logs revised contract documents
    • Manages project needs involving Miss Utility and maintains dig tickets
    • Collaborates with field team in support of Project Engineers and Project Managers
    • Delivers small materials to jobsites
    • Tracks, files and logs T&M change orders
    • Serves as a liaison between field employees and project leadership
    • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
    • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
    • Must have a valid driver's license and meet company driving standards
    • Must demonstrate effective organization and communication skills
    • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
    • Must be comfortable in a construction environment
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
